ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. — Arapahoe County's largest regional park is reopening after an $18 million makeover. Dove Valley Regional Park officially reopens Monday at 12 p.

m. after doubling in size in renovations that began in March 2023. Located across from the Denver Broncos' practice facility, formerly 52 acres in size, the park has been expanded with an additional 40 acres to over 90 acres, said Arapahoe County park officials.



Improvements for the 35-year-old park include upgraded athletic fields, a new roadway access and parking lot, walking trails, playgrounds, a new dog park, and a shade pavilion with picnic shelters. Additional upgrades, including a bike park and pump track, are expected to be completed later this summer.
