SIMON Cowell risked turning the air blue as he stopped one letter short of delivering a furious F-word rant on BGT. The judge was left raging following the performance of comedian Alex Mitchell as he hit out at the performer's haters with a very telling comment. Alex , who is neurodivergent, has used his comedy routines to highlight the struggles he has faced throughout his life.

Aware that the show was still airing pre-watershed, Simon insisted that they should "duck off" - a comment which received rapturous applause from the crowd. He said: "Alex - for all those people who have sent mean messages, tell them, the word rhymes with duck, off." The potentially sweary moment appeared to leave show hosts Ant and Dec on edge as they swiftly moved away from the panel to chat to Alex in a bid to avoid any more of Simon's rant.
His slip-up is not the only blunder to have hit the grand final . Viewers were left perplexed when the show kicked off with Bruno Tonioli seemingly being booed. Loud boos seemed to echo around the Hammersmith Apollo as the the judge stood up to speak.
