The autopsy was obtained by People Magazine. According to the publication , the Christian music singer, who placed ninth on the show’s fifth season, was last known to be alive three weeks prior to friends discovering her deceased in her Nashville home.
According to the Cleveland Clinic , Class III obesity (formerly known as morbid obesity), is a disease where a person has either a body mass index of 40 or higher or one of 35 or higher who is experiencing obesity-related health conditions. Her struggle with weight was first called out while she competed on the show, with her weight being mentioned by then-judge Simon Cowell. She addressed it later in the season, and he went on to apologize for his comments.
