The One Show opened on Thursday, June 6, with a statement about Dr Michael Mosley , who is currently missing in Greece. Welsh presenter Alex Jones and her co-host Lauren Laverne welcomed viewers to the show before issuing the message. The BBC show kicked off with an image of Michael, who has made regular appearances on the programme as well as This Morning and Morning Live.
Speaking to viewers at home, Alex said: "As you'll have heard in the news, lots of us are concerned to hear that our friend Michael Mosley has gone missing whilst on holiday in Greece. And our thoughts are very much with his wife Clare and the rest of his family at this worrying time. We hope for more positive news.
