BRITS are most spontaneous at the age of 22 - with half wishing they were more impulsive growing up. The research was commissioned by Magnum, which has launched ‘Pick Your Pleasure Pass’ with singer Troye Sivan, which gives away free event tickets to the public. Daniel Lythgo, brand manager for the ice cream brand, said: “It’s good to have a bit on spontaneity in your life as it brings a sense of excitement and joy. “It’s important to celebrate spontaneous moments which is why we’re encouraging people to step out their comfort zone and seize the summer.



“After all, some of the best memories are made when you least expect them.” The study also revealed more than half of Brits prefer spontaneous plans over planned events – as they are more exciting. With 45 per cent finding off-the-cuff plans leading to more genuine interactions while 43 per cent enjoy them as they take the stress away from organising.
