The airline had already axed 122 flights between today and Sunday. Now, they have issued a notice announcing the cancellation of 76 more flights between Monday, July 8th and Wednesday, July 10th. The notice reads: “In order to continue to protect as many services as possible from the continuing and highly disruptive impact of IALPA’s continuing industrial action, Aer Lingus has had to take the step of cancelling 76 additional flights over the course of Monday 8th July to Wednesday 10th July (inclusive).

"Implementing these cancellations is to enable us to protect as many services as possible for as many of our customers as possible. These cancellations will be implemented today, and details will be communicated to impacted customers.” Customers are advised that the details of the services impacted are published on the ‘Travel Advisory’ page of the official Aer Lingus website.



As with other cancellations since the pilots’ industrial action began, customers will be given the option to change their flights for free. They will also be able to claim a refund or voucher. Meanwhile, pilots are not expected to ramp up industrial action this week while a major bid is under way to end the disruptive pay row.

The Labour Court asked the Irish Air Line Pilots' Association (Ialpa) and Aer Lingus not to escalate the dispute while a formal hearing takes place today, with the court making a recommendation thereafter that could potentially end the pay row later this week. Ialpa has.
