With Valve's big Steam Summer Sale kicking off this Thursday, now is a great time to look at getting a Steam Deck, as you can pick one up a 64GB model for under $300 until July 11 , or a far beefier 512GB version of $381, if you don't mind LCD screens. Not too bad! And you will of course want some games to play on it, which is where this new Fanatical bundle deal kicks in. The Handheld Heroes promotion lets you build your own bundle of games, with the selection on offer having a Steam Deck Verified or Playable status.

As a reminder, games with a Verified label are good to go as soon as you've installed them on your Steam Deck, while games labeled as Playable may possibly need a bit of tinkering in the settings menu to run optimally (not always, though). Once you eclipse five games, you'll still only pay $3 per game.

If you wanted to buy every game listed here, you'd pay a total of $48 for 16 games.p The list of eligible games is pretty solid. Some of the standouts include Cookie Cutter, which launched late last year.

This is a cool metroidvania with an irreverent sense of humor, as you take control of the android Cherry on her.
