He took to Instagram to clue everyone in with a fun video where he showcased his fans begging for him to rejoin the cast. Adam wrote in the caption: "The OG is back in the building! I’M COMING BACK to #TheVoice next Spring 2025 Can’t wait! V27." His return comes as a shock because he previously said it wasn't in the cards.

In fact, in 2020, a fan asked him to come back, but Adam just replied, "No thank you," shutting down the prospect entirely. As for why he originally departed, it was never really addressed. However, he did have a young family at the time and, after his exit, he told Ellen that he was enjoying spending time with them.

He added: "Now I'm just, like, a stay-at-home dad. I just stay home and do very little. It's great.

" Adam isn't the only one to revisit the show, despite being the only one who previously held a full-time gig there. Kelsea also has some experience in The Voice studio. She's been a part-time coach for two season and also appeared as an adviser once.
