Adam Frazier went 2 for 2 with a double and home run against his former team as the Kansas City Royals defeated the visiting Seattle Mariners 8-4 Saturday afternoon. Vinnie Pasquantino and Kyle Isbel added two-run doubles for the Royals, who have won the first two games of the series after rallying from an eight-run deficit for a 10-9 decision Friday night. J.

P. Crawford and Mitch Garver homered for the Mariners. Royals starter Alec Marsh (5-3) earned the victory despite allowing four runs on seven hits over five innings.



He didn't walk a batter and struck out eight. Seattle's Luis Castillo (5-7) gave up five runs on six hits in five innings, with one walk and four strikeouts. Crawford hit the game's first pitch over the right-field wall.

The Royals tied it with a run in the bottom of the inning as Maikel Garcia led off with a single, stole second and scored on Salvador Perez's two-out single to left. Kansas City took the lead in the second as, with one out, Frazier capped a nine-pitch at-bat by going deep to right. Seattle regained the lead with a pair of runs in the fifth.

With one out, Garver hit a towering blast just inside the left-field foul pole. Two-out singles by Dominic Canzone, Ryan Bliss and Crawford made it 3-2. The Royals wasted no time in rallying.

Frazier led off the bottom of the inning with a double and scored on Nick Loftin's single. A sacrifice bunt and a walk put runners at first and second and both scored on Pasquantino's two-out double to right that bro.
