Danni Menzies from APITS shares mental health journey A Place in the Sun 's Danni Menzies has opened up on struggles she is still facing a year after being in a horrific accident. Last January, the Channel 4 host shared that she was undergoing treatment following a crash as she shared graphic images of the aftermath. She later explained that she had been "taken out" by a stolen moped that lost control. She took a break from social media, as she wrote: "Sooooo..

In a video, she said: "Life was feeling pretty good and I'd say I was in a great headspace. Little did I know, that was about to change." The presenter shared some graphic images showing extensive cuts and bruises on her face, with one picture showing her in a head brace as she said: "Didn't see that one coming".
