A £250,000 wardrobe and 13 costume changes - but how on earth will Taylor Swift keep warm in a British summer? By Katie Hind and Dolly Busby Published: 18:19 EDT, 8 June 2024 | Updated: 18:19 EDT, 8 June 2024 e-mail View comments Costing more than £250,000, Taylor Swift 's tour wardrobe is one of the most expensive in pop history. On the first UK date of her Eras tour, she showcased 13 outfits – her lucky number – including two new ones thought to cost more than £10,000 each: a blue frock, and a yellow top and pink skirt combination by Roberto Cavalli. Other stage clothes are custom made by couture labels including Versace, Vivienne Westwood and Zuhair Murad, while she has at least ten pairs of shoes and boots from French designer Christian Louboutin, famous for his red soles, again specifically created for her.
But it seems few of the exclusive designs were created with the British weather in mind as the 34-year-old megastar visibly shivered during her opening show at the Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on Friday. She was even forced to stop as the winds became too much during the acoustic section. With her hand frozen into a claw position, she was unable to play her guitar.
