PORTLAND, Oregon — It's the second to last weekend in May, which means another weekend closer to summer — although it will be a bit cooler this weekend, that can't stop the fun! This weekend brings the final Minority Retort comedy show, Portland Rose Festival City Fair, the 9th Vanport Mosaic Festival, Holi Spring Festival, the Multnomah County Fair and much more. Here's our list of things to do this weekend. When: May 24 Where: The Siren Theater, 3913 North Mississippi Avenue, Portland, OR What's going on: Portland comedic staple Minority Retort, founded in 2015 by Portlander Jason Lamb, will be hosting its final show on May 24 at the Siren Theater, featuring an all-star lineup, with part of the proceeds going towards the Black Parent Initiative .
The Minority Retort features Black and brown comedic talent from around the Pacific Northwest. The grand finale show will include headliner Curtis Cook featured on Hulu's "This Fool," TBS's "American Dad," Nathan Brannon, Katie Nguyen, Adam Pasi, Anthony Robinson, Julia Ramos, The Real Hyjinx, Debbie Wooten and special surprise guests. Portland's very own DJ Klyph and DJ Ambush of No Requests will be in the mix providing music.
