22 Kids and Counting star Sue Radford has revealed her dreams were ‘shattered’ after missing out on the family’s perfect home. The family currently live in a 10-bedroom townhouse in Morecambe, with up to four children sharing rooms across the four-storey home. However, Sue, 49, had shared their plans to move to a new £850,000 country home for a quieter life in the countryside.
She was left ‘absolutely gutted’ when the house sale fell through, and has now revealed how upsetting it was. The Channel 5 star said: ‘We really wanted to move to the countryside for a quieter life, a bit more privacy.’ Ahead of the new series of their reality show, she continued to OK! : ‘When it fell through it was absolutely gutting, but sometimes you think these things happen for a reason and I guess it was just not meant to be.
It was upsetting when it happened. The house move was an emotional episode.’ Sue and her husband Noel, who welcomed their youngest child in 2020 and also share numerous grandchildren , had planned to let their five eldest remain in the Morecambe home, but admitted she is glad that’s no longer happening.
‘It always bothered me that some of the older kids were going to still live in this house and we were going to go and live in the new house,’ she continued. ‘So I’m glad that we’re not doing it now. There are so many memories that have been made in this house.
It would have been a shame to have left it behind.’ In a 2021 video on their family.
