49, 70cl), Highland Earl Blended Scotch Whisky (£16.89, 1L) and Samuel Joe's Straight Kentucky Bourbon (£14.99, 70cl), pipped competitors to the post at the International Spirits Challenge (ISC) as all three won gold medals.
Glen Marnoch Highland Single Scotch Whisky , beat M&S within the Single Malts category as well as premium brand Lochlea Distillery, which comes in at £45. At just £18.49 a bottle, shoppers can save over 60% if they oft for Aldi’s award winner.
Spirits at the awards are blind tasted by an expert and independent panel of judges selected by the organiser. Bronze, Silver, Gold and Double Gold medals are awarded according to a consensus reached by the judging panel. The best of the best will be awarded Trophy medals.
