It's Hampshire's newest watering hole and it's set to bring joy - and its own brand new specially brewed real ale - to New Forest beer lovers. It's opening weekend for The Vibrant Tap in Lyndhurst, a new venue from the team behind Vibrant Forest Brewery in Hardley , which has its own hugely successful two-storey brewery taproom on site. The new taproom and bottle shop on the High Street will be the perfect sibling for the brewery taproom, says general manager Lee Dack whose brother Ryan runs the Hythe site.

"It's a great size with little cubby holes everywhere, beers brewed in our own brewery and tables handmade from logs, giving it a real Forest feel." The Vibrant Tap, in the premises formerly occupied by Surfing Moo Moos, just a few doors up from the Prezzo location being transformed into a Mettricks site, hosted a soft launch for local business owners on Thursday, followed by a grand opening and ribbon cutting yesterday.

The venue, which can comfortably seat 70 to 80 with plenty more standing room, has 16 lines in total and will feature permanent favourites, including Bitter Bench, brewed specifically for this venue to honour Bolton's Bench, flagship juicy pale ale Pupa, Summer Lands, .
