Bargara has long been a stop-over for people exploring Queensland 's southern coast but the spike in property prices proves Aussies are taking the leap and making a permanent sea-change to the little-known hub. The dreamy hideaway is a 15-minute drive from Bundaberg and 280km north of the Sunshine Coast on the very southern end of the Great Barrier Reef.
