When counting for the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda graduates by-election is progressing Congress candidate Teenmar Mallanna is leading with a majority of 1,06,234 votes. Of the total 1,77,151 votes in the third round of counting and 2,64,216 votes were invalid. Independent candidate Palakuri Ashok Kumar got 27,493 votes.
A total of 3,36,013 votes were polled..
