A Starbucks employee has publicly shamed a customer's extremely complex order that took 20 minutes to prepare. The disgruntled barista took to Reddit 's MildlyInfuriating subreddit to share a snap of the unique request. A detailed list of the customer's requirements specified several syrups, drizzles and customisations - as well as a particular kind of cup it had to be served in.
"Starbucks drink I had to do while having a 20 minute wait," cursed the member of staff. The ID codes at the top of the order suggest the beverage was an adaptation of a white chocolate macchiato nut cold brew. Served in a Venti cup with no ice, the drink had four added helpings of macadamia syrup, vanilla syrup, dark caramel, white chocolate and vanilla bean powder.
Adding more flavour - and calories - the order also specified heavy cream, whipped cream, caramel drizzle, mocha drizzle, cinnamon powder and extra vanilla cold foam. Perplexed by the order, one Reddit user questioned: "What does the first line mean? Is there even coffee in this drink at all? I don’t even understand. It sounds like something you’d make into ice cream.
" Another said: "I don’t understand how people invent these concoctions, I just get paralyzed by the sheer amount of options and go with the default because it’s easier and probably also tastes the best." A third agreed, pondering: "How do you even learn that THAT'S the drink you like? I'm scared to try more than 2 flavours in there. Maybe every once in a while I’l.
