Being recognised by such a prestigious award is a real honour.” “We try to make as much as we can from fresh – including our own black pudding and sausages! If we can’t make it ourselves, we work closely with local farmers, bakers and other suppliers to support local businesses and the wider community. Plus, we focus on delivering excellent customer service and feel that a warm welcome should never be overlooked.
” The business, founded by the couple over 30 years ago, now employs 16 people and thrives on being known for its locally sourced meats, award-winning wraps and sandwiches, its cookery and butchery classes, pop-up evenings, including its famous Burns Night and Butcher’s Banter.
