A certified bop is getting its own icy treat. Van Leeuwen Ice Cream announced its partnership with singer-songwriter Sabrina Carpenter to debut “Espresso” ice cream on the heels of . This freezer-aisle partnership signifies a growing trend of in 2024. Carpenter herself revealed the news in a over the weekend, showing off the package as her Billboard Hot 100 song plays in the background. Van Leeuwen said in a news release that Carpenter’s limited-time ice cream will, of course, feature espresso flavor mixed with chewy brownies, chocolate chips and swirls of fudge.
The ice cream will be available starting June 28 in all Van Leeuwen shops across the country by the pint and the scoop, as well as on its website while supplies last. The brand said a portion of proceeds will be donated to charity, though representatives didn’t immediately reply to TODAY.com’s request for clarity on how much will be donated and what organization will be benefitting.
“Doing a flavor collab with a genuine Van Leeuwen super fan is always a lot of fun,” said co-founder and CEO Ben Van Leeuwen in a news release. “We’re so excited to celebrate Sabrina and her newest hit with this extremely delicious ice cream.” Van Leeuwen says there was an exclusive sneak peek tasting of the ice cream flavor at on Saturday, June 8.
