Tosin Cole leads the cast as Michael Lasaki, a South Londoner who suddenly gains the ability to travel in time. However, he soon learns his fiancé Dionne (played by Adelayo Adedayo) is in grave danger from an unknown threat and will need to bring together four other people who have developed superpowers to stop it. A synopsis on reads: "Doctor Who alum Tosin Cole and BAFTA-nominated The Responder star Adelayo Adedayo play loved-up couple Michael and Dionne, whose life is thrown into chaos when the former suddenly gains the ability to travel through time.

"However, this surprising gift will seem anything but as he learns that his fiancé is doomed to an untimely demise, unless he can track down four other powered individuals and unite them against an unforeseen threat." Speaking to about why he created the show Rapman explained: "I was always a massive fan of the genre. I loved Heroes, Misfits, old school Batman, but I never saw a superhero story that was realistic to what a normal person would do if they had powers.



"Then, I first spoke the idea out loud when I was doing promo for my film, Blue Story, and wondered what people from ends like south London would do with powers. Then, in 2020, I started writing and developing the show." Having the series set in south London was important to him, as he said: "It's where I'm born and raised, I'm a proper south Londoner.
