Jayson suffers from something known as gigantism, which is a 'condition where there is a small growth on his pituitary gland that allows for constant release of growth hormone.
' When he was born, he weighed over 12 pounds and measured 26 inches - more than six inches longer than the average male baby. By age seven, he was already over five-foot, and now, at age 10, he towers over most adult men at six-foot-three-inches. While Jayson's immense height comes with some benefits, like getting a leg up in football, it has also resulted in him facing cruel assumptions from the moms and dads of other kids his age.
