Each year, 100 restaurants across the UK are named on the prestigious list and special awards are handed it to the country's best chefs, front-of-house staff and more. Now, back for 2024, the National Restuarant Awards has seen more than 50 London locations named on the list, with one restaurant taking the top spot. The list is created using a panel of more than 200 experts from within the food industry, including, food writers, chefs and restaurateurs.

Taking the top spot in the entire list was The Ledbury in Notting Hill which previously won the same award three years in a row in 2010, 2011 and 2012.



Since reopening in 2022, The Ledbury has kept its trusty ethos, as the awards share: "The overall ethos at the Notting Hill restaurant remains the same: namely an obsession with top quality produce; a singular approach to cooking that blends classical and contemporary elements seamlessly together; and - perhaps most importantly - an unusually warm and flexible service style."
