: BRS party president, former chief minister, and leader of the Opposition in Telangana, K Chandrashekar Rao has rejected an invitation from Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to attend the official State Formation Day celebrations on June 2. In a long 22-page letter released by the BRS party on Saturday evening, Chandrashekar Rao said owing to the policies and politics of Revanth Reddy, and the Congress government which the BRS chief said were against the interests of the people and Telangana, he will not be attending the celebrations. It may be recalled that Revanth Reddy had extended a personal, hand-written invitation to Chandrashekar Rao to attend the official Telangana State Formation Day events on June 2.
