A SAVVY mum has left shoppers jealous after bagging a huge haul of yellow sticker bargains in Morrisons. Bargain hunters praised Lorna Cooper, from Paisley, for "beating the vultures" to the discounted stash in her local supermarket. Posting on Feed your family for about £20 a week , a public Facebook group with 678,000 followers, Lorna shared snaps of her Morrisons buys.
Alongside the post, she said: “I landed this haul in Morrisons on Friday." She managed to pick up heavily discounted vegetable samosas, Cornish pastries, 700g of Cajun chicken breasts and a quiche. She also bagged a loaf of plain bread, iceberg lettuce, two packs of fish, celery sticks, and 80g of topside of beef.
Hery grocery shop should have cost more than £30, but the yellow sticker discounts brought the total to just £9.75. But Lorna did have one complaint about her lucky food shop - the competition to grab the sale goods.
She said: "I ended up at a different Morrisons from the one I usually go to and what a different experience waiting on the yellow stickers getting reduced. "In the one I usually go to it is pretty civilised but not so much this one! "People hanging over the people reducing stuff and pushing in. It was a bit nuts.
I think I will stick to my normal one from now on!" Her haul left social media users open-mouthed, with many taking to the comments section. "You got a good haul though Lorna", insisted one. "Wow.
Great discounts", said a second. A third wrote: "It’s like that in our Mo.
