Danone Canada is recalling various Silk and Great Value brand plant-based refrigerated beverages from the marketplace because of possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. According to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), this recall was triggered by findings during an investigation into a foodborne illness outbreak. There have been reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products. The recalled products were distributed nationally in Canada. A full list of recalled products can be found below.
