A lot of us grab a coffee and a pastry when out and about to satisfy are caffeine and hunger needs. However, with prices on the rise, it can end up costing quite a lot if you do this on the regular. To help with this, one mum and influencer has revealed how people can make a copycat version of one of coffee chain Costa's most-loved pastries with her own recipe .

Casey Major-Bunce, known on Instagram and TikTok as @majormumhacks, is known for her home and life hacks. And in one of her latest, she shows how you can make your own version of Costa 's chocolate pastry twists for just 58p. The mum shared a how-to video, as she started off by telling fans: "Make these for 58p – they're a fraction of the price and taste the same.

" Casey is seen in the video laying down a row of puff pastry before pouring custard and chocolate chips on it. She then places another sheet of pastry on top before cutting it into strips and twisting the pastry over. The twists are then seen after baking in the oven for 20 minutes where they look pretty much the same as the ones you see in a coffee shop.

Following up in the caption, Casey said: "Save these for later. These easy chocolate pastry custard twists are amazing, and you can’t tell the difference from the ones on the Costa menu. "It’s such an easy hack that you can make with the kids for a fun baking activity, not to mention you save money on food.

" People were loving the recipe as the post went viral – racking up more than 59,000 likes on .
