We wanted to expand over to the Iowa side and get something opened up over there, just because it had been such a hit," said Brady Varner, operations manager at AWAKE. "Our Rock Island location is really small, and the drive through setup backs up into the intersection.

"We knew we needed to expand and do something, because it was a big hit. So we opened up Brady Street." The future site of AWAKE Coffee Company's East Moline location, 1347 Avenue of the Cities, is shown Thursday.
