“Adding an outdoor seating area to our Lake George Tasting Room is something our customers have asked us to do for a very long time,” co-owner Sasha Pardy said. “Since opening our Queensbury Tasting Room and seeing how much guests enjoy our patio there, we wanted to bring that same feeling to our customers in Lake George.” “We must admit, too, it’s the best place for people watching – especially during the busy summer season,” Pardy added.
The new patio is seasonal and will be open May through October, featuring Polywood Adirondack Chairs made from recycled materials and adorned with flowers, according to an Adirondack Winery press release. According to Gina Mintzer, the Executive Director of the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB, renovations like the ones Pardy made are a call to other businesses to take the initiative to improve their amenities to contribute to Lake George’s beautiful downtown. “You will be a catalyst to all your neighbors to clean things up and add new things,” Mintzer said to Pardy during the ribbon cutting.
Adirondack Winery guests will now be able to experience a wine tasting inside and follow it up with a glass of the wine, as well as order cheese and snack platters outside.
