The choir is one of the biggest in the North East, and will perform at The Princess Alexandra Auditorium in Yarm on Thursday, July 11, from 7pm. Led by Jeanette Wainwright, members will be joined at the concert by professional tenor Neil Allen and pianist / composer Tim Lole, who will be playing a solo. They will accompany the 120 voices from six different choirs who join together at this time of year to form a community choir and perform a summer concert.

thepaaonline.org/whats-on/ or call 01642 792587. The Nottingham-based pianist, composer and singing teacher is also a highly-versatile musician who has been, variously, a conductor, accompanist, repetiteur, arranger, organist and workshop leader, having worked for most of the UK opera companies.
He was a chorister at St Paul’s Cathedral, an organ scholar at Trinity College, Cambridge, and also studied at the Royal College of Music and National Opera Studio. Tim began his career as a freelance repetiteur working at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. As a conductor, he was on the staff at Scottish Opera, won the Donatella Flick Conducting Competition in 1992 and has conducted for Welsh National Opera, the Royal Opera House Garden Venture, English Touring Opera and Birmingham Opera Company.
