The Yankees’ marquee series against the Dodgers didn’t start out in ideal fashion as the Bombers fell in extra innings 2-1. Despite that, they had been on a good eight-game winning streak prior to the loss, giving them a bit of cushion on their various races in the standings. Speaking of those races, let’s check in on what was happening around baseball on Friday night in today’s Rivalry Roundup.
