A woman has made the bold and unusual decision to with a stranger and was amazed by the results. Holding eye contact with someone you don't know can be daunting, but one woman decided to face her fears and hold her gaze when Kitty Lever ( ) filmed herself taking on the challenge in a video posted on 8 May 2024 which amassed 331,500 likes. Kitty tried to maintain eye contact with a nd commenters shared their funny experiences of doing similar.

In the video the woman appears to be at some kind of fashion event as she interacts with a man who is telling her about some press on stickers she is holding.
She thanks him as she holds eye contact with the man, who cannot be seen on camera. The man said: "I got lost in your eyes for a second, blue like the sea." Kitty then thanked him for his compliment as she grinned and put a hand over her face.
One user commented: "I love doing this to people and seeing them start to stutter." Another added: "My issue is I will immediately start laughing." The importance of eye contact in building connections with strangers has long been suggested by matchmakers.
