THREE days after she was granted a temporary restraining order, the LA-based makeup artist was nearly killed by her actor ex-boyfriend. Hollywood makeup artist Allie Shehorn was asleep in her Los Angeles home when her ex, Nicholas Pasqual , allegedly broke in, stabbed her repeatedly , and left her for dead before attempting to flee the border to Mexico . Allie Shehorn is a Hollywood entertainment veteran with over 100 makeup and special effects credits to her name.
In an interview with Lunacy Productions , Shehorn says that while she was going to art school originally, she decided a film set "was more the type of environment" she "wanted to work in," and ended up enrolling in the Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles. Shehorn's favorite part of being a makeup artist is that "every day the job is different," and "you’re working with different crews and different people and you’re never really doing the same thing twice." She also said she "loves the little challenges that come up working on set.
