Ice cold cocktails were on order this week as we asked where in Wirral serves the best classic and modern drinks. Whether it’s a cold mojito in the sunshine or a warming Old Fashioned in front of the fire, we wanted to know your favourite cocktail and where we can get one. Do you prefer a pina colada or a margarita? Does a Long Island Iced Tea take your fancy or would you rather have an espresso martini? In honour of World Cocktail Day, which took place on Monday, May 13, and after launching our new Best of 2024 competition in the Wirral Globe last month, we wanted to hear about the venues in Wirral that serve the best cocktails.
In our first Best of 2024 category we were looking at the best hair salons, barbers and independent stylists in the area followed by the area’s most delicious pies and then picture-perfect nails. LA Hair is Wirral’s Best for Hair, Pies4U took the Best for Pies title for the second year in a row and By Taylor Jade is officially the area’s Best for Nails. Last weekend, readers were voting for their favourite place to go on a Sunday for a traditional roast dinner.
Next up, cocktails were the order of the day and we have shortlisted a top 10, who will battle it out to be named the best in Wirral. But now we need your help to choose an overall Best for Cocktails winner from our top 10. There are three ways to vote: 1.
