Red Bull joined the Formula 1 grid back in 2005 after acquiring the Minardi F1 team. Milton Keynes hasn’t looked back since then and has scored highly impressive results. The team celebrated the 20th season in a great fashion at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and also revealed the RB17 Hypercar.
Red Bull’s ex-driver David Coulthard , was present at the Festival and congratulated the team’s legacy. Christian Horner has led Red Bull ever since its inception at the pinnacle of motorsport. The outfit has scored a total of seven championship victories and a whopping 120 race wins.
David Coulthard enjoyed a great run with the Austrian constructor from 2005-2008 and played an integral role in the team’s beginning in F1. Regardless, the Englishman was present at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and celebrated Red Bull’s 20th season in F1. Coulthard noted that he worked alongside the people in the factory in the early 90s.
The team has come a very long way since then, especially in terms of performance in Formula 1.
