The 16th annual Sounds of Centerra concert series will kick off at 7-9 p.m. Friday, July 5, at Chapungu Sculpture Park on Sky Pond Drive.
Each Friday in July at 7-9 p.m., concert-goers can hear a free concert from local and regional bands, including: • July 5 – The Long Run Band – Colorado’s Tribute to the Eagles.
• July 12 – Face Vocal Band – A cappella. • July 19 – That Eighties Band – High-energy ’80s tribute act. • July 26 – Soul School – Soulful sounds.
Additionally, Thompson Education Night will take place on July 19 in honor of Thompson Education Foundation’s (TEF) 35th Anniversary. The family-friendly event will feature face painting, crafts, giveaways, and more. That evening, cash donations will be accepted in support of TEF’s “Help Kids Succeed” school supply program.
