CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WNCN) – The North Carolina baseball team opened the 2024 NCAA Tournament in dramatic fashion on Friday night, winning 11-8 over Long Island after a walk-off grand slam by infielder Gavin Gallaher in the bottom of the ninth inning.
