The actress sent a defamation notice and lodged a police complaint, invoking numerous Indian Penal Code sections, such as 420, 406, 509, 499, 500, 503, 506, 63, 199, and 211. Digangana has refuted the allegations brought forward by Manish, the brain behind the web series Show Stopper. Previously, Manish had implicated Digangana in serious charges, accusing her of “extortion” and “breach of trust”.
MH Films, the entity behind the series, has made a formal complaint to law enforcement against Digangana. They accused her of dishonesty and breach of trust, which are serious offenses under sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code. According to the filed complaint, Digangana allegedly provided false information claiming that actor Akshay Kumar, along with his organization, were going to be sponsors of the project.
