Digangana is accused of falsely claiming to have secured Akshay Kumar as a presenter for a project. Now, a source close to MH Films stated how the actor never introduced them to Akshay Kumar and even has the iPad with the upcoming series ‘Showstopper’ episodes with her.
A source close to the makers told IndiaToday.in that Digangana has even threatened that she will not let the series release on OTT. While talking about the same, the source said, “Digangana came to the makers and said that she will bring Akshay Kumar on board as a presenter.
And for that, she sent the makers a few messages about the fees and all. She later mentioned that she wanted to meet a few people about the script and that’s when the makers sent the editor with the iPad where the episodes of ‘Showstopper’ are recorded. She did introduce the editor to Akshay for a minute and kept the iPad with her.
Later, after two days, she told the makers that he (Akshay) liked the shows and further asked for money.” Adding further, the source stated that the ‘Veer Ki Ardaas Veera’ actor never shared any draft or point of contact with the makers regarding Akshay Kumar's involvement in the project. “Following the discussion, she was not ready to give the draft or any connection to Akshay’s team.
