Excerpt: Could you assess the performance of the President Bola Tinubu administration within its first year? Our analysis and criticisms of government policies or actions where necessary is not to bring it down or incite people against it, but to help it sit up and rise up to its responsibility towards its citizens and giving their minimum best. Jesus lived with his disciples for three years, performing miracles, yet when He died and resurrected, Thomas who was with him for three years, doubted him. He had to prove to Thomas that He lives.
Same way, the government must prove that it exists for the citizens. Assessing Tinubu’s APC administration in the past one year should be on the premise of certain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) impacting on citizens. These are: Economy, Security, Food and shelter, Education, Health and fighting corruption.
On the scale 1-10, the best I can give this government is 3. Meaning, there the Tinubu administration performed dismally. There is absolutely nothing any citizen will pride himself on as governance that is having a positive impact on citizens.
