This Affordable Multi-Styler Gave Me the Sleekest Blowout of My Life

When it comes to hair tools, I have no chill - I'm obsessed with it all. Even though my own can be finicky at times - it's kind of thin, damaged from too much heat styling, and my highlights always turn red - I still love it and want the best for it. So, whenever I have an opportunity to try out new hair tools, I'm always game, whether it's a blow dryer, a flat iron, or something in an entirely different category altogether. It's fairly well documented on the Internet how much I love my Dyson Airwrap. When I heard Bondiboost was launching the Everlast Airstyler ($188), its own version of the popular styling tool, my interest was piqued. I had never tested any hair tools from Bondiboost in the past, but my coworker was a fan of the brand's infrared styling brush, so I decided to give this tool a try, and I'm so glad I did. It's compact, has a place for every attachment, and it looks super cute. One of my biggest gripes with the Dyson was the ultra heavy hard-shell carrying case (I actually ended up buying a soft sided travel case from Amazon) but with the Bondiboost Everlast, you're already set. It comes with five attachments: the angled dryer is best used for rough drying hair, and I find that it's quick and efficient. The smoothing concentrator can be used to smooth hair before or after styling with the other attachments (I typically use it to go over frizzy sections at my roots). The 1.25" round brush offers a defined blowout; it's similar to the size of the one round brush that comes with the Dyson Airwrap. The 2.25" volumizing round brush is best for a bouncy blowout and is similar to the size of the Revlon One-Step. Last, there are two ceramic curlers to give you bouncy waves. Although I'm a big Airwrap stan, now that I have long hair, I've found that using the small round brush takes quite some time. I love using the larger size to get bigger pieces of my hair and give myself a straight blowout. Also, I can't mention the things I like about this product without mentioning the price. At $188, it's far more affordable than any other similar products on the market, which makes it one I'm planning to suggest to all of my friends. How to Use the Bondiboost Everlast AirstylerThe brand recommends using the angled dry to rough dry hair until it's about 90 percent dry and then using the other attachments to style your hair. It suggests the two ceramic curlers if you want a bouncy blowout, the volumizing round brush if you want a bouncy salon-like blowout, the smaller round brush for a defined blowout, and the smoothing concentrator to dry and smooth.I rough dry using the angled dryer or I let my hair air dry, and then I like to go in with one of the two volumizing round brushes. I divide my hair into three sections and work my way up from the bottom layer to the top, drying in one to two-inch pieces. My hair is really long right now, so I typically use the 1.25" ceramic round brush for just the front layered pieces of my hair and switch over to the 2.25" round brush for the longer sections. It gives me a nice, straight, smooth blowout. Once I'm finished, I like to go over everything with the smoothing concentrator to make sure it's sleek and as frizz-free as possible. What to Consider Before Trying the Bondiboost Everlast AirstylerIf you've been searching for a more affordable version of the Dyson Airwrap, this is a great option. It does all of the same stuff, and the hairstyles last just as long. However, on the newer version of the Dyson, there's one singular curling attachment - you only have to switch the direction of the airflow, which can be done by turning a nob at the top. With this styler, you have to swap out the attachments to do the left and right side of your head. Additionally, I do find that my Dyson feels a bit more luxurious; however, this tool still gets the job done.
