ONE fashion fan has gone to great 'lengths' to be heard about an all too common issue facing woman's clothing today. Kellie Melia has taken to TikTok to share an issue she discovered while shopping for trousers in Penneys. The TikToker posted her rant to her page, @kelliemelia00 , where she reached out to both Penneys and Rita Ora to pose the ultimate question.
She asked: "Who are you making your trousers for?" Her query came after she bought a pair of cargo pants from Rita Ora's collection with Penneys. She said: "Now I absolutely love them, they are so nice..
. but they're so long. "I get it, I am short and I know it.
But this is something else." Kellie holds the trousers in question up against her own legs and they very clearly sweep past her waist reaching as far as her collar bone. She continued: "They are the length of me, who are these made for?" While Kellie admits to being "5 foot nothing" she complains at the options she is faced with.
She rages" "I either have to take these up so many inches, or wear the chunkiest boots I could possibly find." The cargos in question are the Rita Ora Wide Leg Cargo Trousers. These pants retail for €22 and come in sizes 6 to 18.
They are available in beige, khaki green and black. However be warned they are not made for shorter women. The fashionista said: "I just don't believe people could have legs this length, who are these for?" But people in the comments were quick to assure her that people do indeed have legs long enough to wea.
