Time for one of my favorite Sunday Bests of the year: the annual roundup of People at Royal Ascot Wearing Enormous Flowers on Their Heads. It’s a tradition to wear fanciful headwear to the annual horse racing event in Ascot (a town in Berkshire, England) — Eliza Doolittle famously did it, as part of a glorious black-and-white ensemble in the “My Fair Lady” movie. And these three racegoers absolutely went for it, sporting flowers of the bigger-than-my-head variety, and looking like they were having a wonderful time.
I’m imagining, at home, some very large hatboxes..
