Travis Scott is busy! After working on a bunch of Air Jordans (like the ‘Canary’ ) and dropping his first signature Nike shoe, the Houston-born rapper just dropped the Travis Scott x Nike Shark-A-Don ‘Sail’ – an all-new silhouette that's actually a mash-up of two not-so-new trainers . Travis Scott x Nike Shark-A-Don ‘Sail’ First teased all the way back in September, the Shark-A-Don is set to be Scott's second original sneaker after the Jumpman Jack that made its big debut earlier this year. Unwrapped in a clean ‘Sail’ colourway, it features a leather and suede build with a mesh strap that wraps around the front of the shoe.
An oversized pull tab hits the heel, while the classic Swoosh logo shoots across the lateral and medial sidewalls. Travis Scott x Nike Shark-A-Don ‘Sail’ If you didn't know already, this entire design (sans the strap) has been swiped straight from the Nike Shark of the 1990s. But that’s not all that's been borrowed though, as the Utopia artist also dove into the archives for the beefy midsole, which is from the Air Zoom Spiridon that dropped in ‘97.
Shark + Spiridon = Shark-A-Don. Maths! The Shark-A-Don is then finished off with the Grammy nominee's Cactus Jack emoji on the heel, and all of this comes packed in a special edition shoebox that was created exclusively for this collab. Travis Scott x Nike Shark-A-Don ‘Sail’ The Travis Scott x Nike Shark-A-Don ‘Sail’ is set to release sometime towards the end of the year at Nik.
