On 20 June 2024, thebook "Əlifba: A Cultural Alphabet" was presented at the AzerbaijanCultural Centre in Berlin. The event was attended by AzerbaijaniAmbassador to Germany, Nasimi Aghayev, as well as representativesfrom the fields of culture and fashion, designers, influencers,bookstore owners, representatives from other embassies, and membersof the Azerbaijani diaspora. The book "Əlifba: A Cultural Alphabet" is an Azerbaijanialphabet for adults and children, featuring colourfulillustrations.
Each letter of the Azerbaijani alphabet isassociated with an architectural monument, work of art, historicaltradition, or folklore character from our country. Behind eachletter lies extensive research. Ulviyya Mahmud, Editor-in-Chief of NARGIS Magazine and author ofmany unique art projects, is the ideological inspirer and author ofthe project.
Her main goal is to promote Azerbaijani cultureworldwide. The book is presented in four languages: German, English,Spanish, and Italian. Its primary aim is to promote the history,cultural heritage, and language of Azerbaijan.
