Article content opens new shop in Metrotown. Italian fashion brand Weekend Max Mara has expanded its footprint in Metro Vancouver with a stylish new retail space in Burnaby. Located in mega-mall Turkish denim brand has set up a temporary summer pop-up shop in downtown Vancouver.
Located at 1160 Robson St., the shop offers a full selection of the brand’s denim designs for men and women. The pop-up shop will be open for six months, according to a brand representative.
In other fashion news, American fashion and leather goods brand Coach, which operates several bricks-and-mortar stores throughout Metro Vancouver, is celebrating the anniversary of its sustainably focused collection with a capsule of pieces created in partnership with community up-cyclers. N.Y.
-based designer Anna Molinari, graphic designer and art director Sabrina Lau, and fashion student Zizi Zeng were tapped by the brand to create a collection of creative designs made using “outdated materials.” The small-batch selection of accessories (many of which sold out quickly online) include grommet accents bows and a seriously cute puffy heart bag.
