Claire has a life-changing operation In the penultimate episode, it was discovered that Claire Browne (Antonia Thomas) had Stage 1 breast cancer, after receiving a misdiagnosis. She has an operation but post-op, Claire collapses and it turns out that it is due to her resistance to antibiotics that’s making her seriously ill. Before Claire is put into a coma, she tells Jared Kalu (Chuku Modu) that she loves him which he reciprocates and tells her to stay strong as “I just got you back”.
