Gird your loins — Miranda Priestly is on her way back to the office. Puck reports that a sequel to “The Devil Wears Prada” is in development at Disney, with Meryl Streep set to return in her winning role as Priestly. In the sequel, Streep’s Priestly, the fearsome editor of Runway, a fashion magazine, would reportedly be contending with the fall of print magazines in the twilight of her career.

Streep starred alongside fellow Oscar winner Anne Hathaway in the hit 2006 film, scripted by their fellow New Jerseyan Aline Brosh McKenna . (Brosh McKenna grew up in Demarest and Montvale ; Streep in Basking Ridge and Bernardsville and Hathaway in Millburn .)
