Many places are haunted by a spooky and creepy past. From historical events which shape the societies we are today to the more bone-chilling ones, Essex has a varied history. Known for being a commuter town thanks to its great transport links into London, Billericay today is a rather affluent area with homes that'll set you back a fair bit.

The town even has streets dubbed 'millionaires row' where you'll find these expensive houses. But one street in its past has a rather peculiar story. Legend has it, an old cottage was 'unbuilt' by a mysterious force that nobody knows how or why.
