We’re at long last into the Top 3 on our offseason countdown of the 10 Best Patriots Moments of 2023. It hasn’t been easy, but we made it. At this rate, we should be wrapping up this list right before the first preseason game, which worked out pretty well.
I definitely didn’t plan it that way - I don’t have that kind of foresight - but I’ll take it for sure. The list so far: 10. The Patriots draft Christian Gonzalez.
9. Jabrill Peppers truck-sticks Davante Adams to set up a Jahlani Tavai interception. 8.
Christian Gonzalez wins Defensive Rookie of the Month. 7. Bailey Zappe connects with Hunter Henry on a 24-yard laser to open up the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers .
6. Pharaoh Brown scores his first NFL touchdown since 2020 with a 58-yard catch and run against the New York Jets . 5.
Rhamondre Stevenson sets a personal record with a 64-yard TD run against the Washington Commanders . 4. Chad Ryland nails a 56-yarder to give the Patriots a Christmas Eve win at Denver.
At Number 3, we have a moment that, for almost a full week, took the league by storm. 3. Brenden Schooler flies from the sideline to block a field goal attempt vs.
the Miami Dolphins . The Week 2 matchup between the 0-1 Patriots and the 1-0 Dolphins was a game that most Patriots fans chalked up as a loss before the game even kicked off. After a 20 year streak of dominance, the tides had finally shifted in the AFC East and Miami was definitively a better team than New England.
There was always the ho.
